Hey everyone, my name is Terrissa Barron.

 

I was born in Delray Beach and raised in Miami, Florida.  I started doing hair when I was just 13 years old and in the 6th grade (only knowing how to do braids at that time).  As the years went on, I wanted to expand myself & do something else.  So at the age of 16, I started learning how to "style" such as doing bond-ins, etc. 

 

Before the name "Certified Touch" came to light on Instagram, my Instagram name was HairbybabyT, and I was well known for doing poetic justice braids.  When I started posting my hairstyles on my Instagram page, a hairstylist saw potential in me, so I started off being an assistant and working my way up....spreading my wings.  As I got better, I started opening more doors for myself and better opportunities came along.  And no matter how many times I wanted to give up on it all, my hope and faith and the people who stuck by my side never let me fail, especially my mom & my 2 little brothers.  

 

Now I am a full-time hairstylist who is passionate about my work and take pride in my work, leaving my clients with confidence & a smile.  In the mix of it all, I am a full-time mother of a Prince....my pride & joy, Elijah J.Lafrance. I use to just thrive for success, but now I thrive for my son and the upcoming success the world has coming for me.  

 

If I learned anything in my years of styling hair, it would be that it takes hard work and dedication.  My art isn't what I see, it is what others see in my work, my creativity, my passion.  My art is what God gave me, which is the hands to bless others.   .
